Para despedir el trimestre por todo lo alto y no dejar de hacer nuestra actividades tradicionales, a pesar de los pesares, el claustro del CEIp "Santa Florentina", ideó, para el último día la celebración de la Carrera Solidaria de Save the Children, de forma virtual.
In order to say goodbye to the term in style and not stop doing our traditional activities, in spite of all the difficulties, the cloister of the CEIp "Santa Florentina" devised for the last day the celebration of the Solidarity Race "Save the Children", in a virtual way.
Tener instalado un croma de 6 metros facilita mucho la tarea. Todos los cursos grabaron de forma colaborativa su parte de la carrera: salidas, llegadas, fotos de recuerdo, mannequin challenge... todo lo que siempre hemos hecho pero en nuestra nuevas instalaciones. Es hacer magia con nuestro alumnado, acostumbrado a este tipo de trabajo.
Having a 6-metre screen installed made the task much easier. All the courses collaboratively filmed their part of the race: starts, finishes, souvenir photos, mannequin challenge... Everything we have always done but in our new facilities. It's magic with our students, who are used to this kind of work.

Esta públicación se la queremos dedicar a todos los alumnos y alumnas que hemos tenido confinados a causa del COVID 19 en estos últimos días. Sabemos que os hubiera gustado participar en esta carrera. También, queremos dedicársela a Carmen Nieva Zabala, tutora de 5 años de Ed. Infantil, Marga Santano Paniagua, nuestra ATE Cuidador y a Yolanda Herrero Soria , tutora de 3º de Primaria. Sin tod@s vosotr@s no ha sido lo mismo.
Ha sido un fin de trimestre duro y extraño. Cuando íbamos a empezar a grabar nuestra película de Navidad, este año sobre el Nacimiento en Belén, el día 14 nos confinan el aula de 5 años de Ed. Infantil. Dos días después nos hacían lo mismo con los chicos y chicas de 3º de Primaria. De estar tranquilos e ilusionados, pasamos, en horas, a tener muchas familias otra vez en ON LINE, con numerosos Rayuelas, llamadas de teléfono y el protocolo COVID. A estas familias queremos agradecerles la paciencia y su gran colaboración para que estos niños y niñas sigan en casa aprendiendo, casi como en la escuela. Además se ha unido que el 21 de diciembre, vacunaban a 28 alumn@s de primaria....
It has been a hard and strange end of term. When we were about to start filming our Christmas film, this year about the Nativity in Bethlehem, on the 14th we were confined to the 5th year Infant class. Two days later they did the same thing to the 3rd year Primary School boys and girls. From being calm and excited, we went, in a matter of hours, to having many families back ON LINE, with numerous Rayuelas, phone calls and the COVID protocol. We would like to thank these families for their patience and their great collaboration so that these children continue to learn at home, almost as if they were at school. In addition, on the 21st of December, 28 primary school pupils were vaccinated. ....
¡TENÍAMOS QUE SALVAR NUESTRA VELADA DE NAVIDAD! Con la dificultad de que muchos de nuestros artístas estaban en casa.... Había que reinventarse. El claustro se lo propuso y al final...gracias a la tecnología y a las nuevas herramientas que estamos teniendo por el Aula del Futuro, hemos conseguido hacer un "TELEPASIÓN" (Agradecer a una maestra jubilada la idea). Era cambiar el formato de una idea principal y adaptarla a la circunstancias. El alumnado, como siempre: implicado hasta el máximo. El claustro: demostrando una vez más que si se quiere se puede (recordando a otra maestra jubilada).
WE HAD TO SAVE OUR CHRISTMAS! With the difficulty that many of our artists were at home ..... We had to reinvent ourselves. The teachers proposed it and in the end... thanks to technology and the new tools that we are having in the Aula del Futuro, we managed to make a "TELEPASIÓN" (thanks to a retired teacher for the idea). It was to change the format of a main idea and adapt it to the circumstances. The pupils, as always: involved to the maximum. The teaching staff: demonstrating once again that if you want to, you can (remembering another retired teacher).

Con la excusa del conocimiento de los diferentes tipos de vivienda, en el aula de 4 años de Ed. Infantil de nuestro colegio, se ha desarrollado un proyecto de trabajo en torno a la Edad Media. Se presentaba como centro de atención el castillo y sus características, comparándolo con las viviedas actuales y sus comodidades: luz eléctrica, agua corriente, calefacción... Se ha estudiado el mobiliario de la época, las dependencias de un castillo. Eso a deribado en el interés por los caballeros, sus costumbres y por su puesto la música que tan presente está en todas las épcoas de la vida
With the excuse of getting to know the different types of housing, a project was developed in our school's 4 year old Infant Education class on the Middle Ages. The focus was on the castle and its characteristics, comparing it with modern houses and their amenities: electricity, running water, heating, etc... The furniture of the time and the rooms of a castle were studied. This has led to an interest in the knights, their customs and, of course, the music that is so present in all periods of life.
Han sido los primeros artistas que han estrenado la instalación CROMA, que forma parte de nuestra recien creada Aula del Futuro, para grabar la Danza del Oso y así, como auténticos caballeros y damas de la Edad Media, bailar en un entorno medieval sin salir de nuestra escuela.
They have been the first artists to premiere the CROMA installation, which is part of our newly created Aula del Futuro, to record the Bear Dance and thus, as authentic knights and ladies of the Middle Ages, dance in a medieval setting without leaving our school.
Aunque con un poco de retraso, os dejamos con la nueva Edición de "El Parlachín TV". En esta ocasión los encargado de elaborar el programa fueron el alumnado de 5º de Primaria. Es un programa diferente, rápido, con entrevistas, test y reportaje. Lo hicieron con mucho esfuerzo y mucho cariño. Esperemos que os guste. Dar a me gusta para que se animen para la próxima ocasión.
Although a little late, we leave you with the new edition of "El Parlachín TV". On this occasion, the students of 5th grade of Primary School were in charge of the programme. It is a different programme, quick, with interviews, tests and reports. They made it with a lot of effort and love. We hope you like it. Like it to encourage them to do it next time.
L@s alumn@s de 4º, están vivenciando experiencias educativas en cualquier área de conocimiento. Como ejemplo las actividades que se muestran de Ciencias Sociales, Ciencias Naturales y Matemáticas. Hemos creido que era divertido que el resto de la Escuela aprenda con ellos estos contenidos, cargando sus vídeos en nuestro Canal de Youtube, creando material de apoyo para otros niveles educativos.
The 4th grade students are living educational experiences in any area of knowledge. As an example the activities shown in Social Sciences, Natural Sciences and Mathematics. We thought it would be fun for the rest of the school to learn these contents with them, uploading their videos to our Youtube Channel, creating support material for other educational levels.
El pasado 3 de noviembre tuvimos la suerte de que vinieran de la Oficina de Consumo de Jarandilla,para participar en nuestra @AuladelFuturo, con l@s chic@s de 6º de Primaria. Se está desarrollando, este trimestre, un taller sobre Herraminetas digitales y creíamos que, ya que les estamos enseñando a utilizarlas, era interesante mostrarles la responsabilidad que tienen por su uso. Almudena y Lorena, les explicaron como es el uso correcto, los peligros de la red, medidas de seguridad, qué hacer cuando tengan algún problema. Consejos muy útiles que , incluso, nos los descubrieron a los adultos que estabamos presentes.
On the 3rd of November we were lucky enough to have them come from the Jarandilla Consumer Office to take part in our @AuladelFuturo, with the children in 6th Grade Primary. This term we are developing a workshop on digital tools and we thought that, as we are teaching them to use them, it was interesting to show them the responsibility they have for their use. Almudena and Lorena explained how to use them correctly, the dangers of the net, safety measures, what to do when they have a problem. Very useful tips, which they even showed to the adults who were present.

El excelentísimo Ayuntamiento de Madrigal de la Vera ha organizado junto con nuestrocentro educativo el concurso en elque el alumnado de este municipio diseña el cartel de la Luminaria, la fiesta que llena de hogueras, la noche del 7 de diciembre , las calles de Madrigal de la Vera.
Este año ha ganado Paula Garro Gutiérrez de 5º de Primaria. Como primera finalista quedó Clara Fernández Rodríguez de 2º de Primaria y como segundo clasificado quedó Andrés Folch Galán de 6º de primaria.
The Town Council of Madrigal de la Vera has organised together with our school the competition in which the students of this municipality design the poster for the Luminaria, the festival that fills the streets of Madrigal de la Vera with bonfires on the night of 7th December.
This year the winner was Paula Garro Gutiérrez from 5th Grade Primary School. The first classified was Clara Fernández Rodríguez from 2nd Primary and the second classified was Andrés Folch Galán from 6th grade of primary school.

Esta semana suele ser intensa y este curso no iba a ser menos. Comenzamos monstrando nuestra Solidaridad con La Palma. Todo el mundo está pendiente de la situación con el volcán. Nos hemos querido sumar a la iniciativa del productor de cine Jordi Gasull para animar a comer plátano de Canarias y ayudar, dentro de nuestras posibilidades, a reflotar la economía de La Palma. En el recreo del martes, 26 de octubre, todos nos unimos para mostrar nuestro apoyo y solidaridad con este duro momento en la Isla Bonita.
This week is usually intense and this year was not going to be any less so. We start by showing our Solidarity with La Palma. Everyone is keeping an eye on the situation with the volcano. We wanted to join the initiative of the film producer Jordi Gasull to encourage people to eat bananas from the Canary Islands and help, to revive the economy of La Palma. At break on Tuesday, 26th October, we all joined together to show our support and solidarity with this difficult time on the Isla Bonita.
Desde el Aula de Inglés se ha trabajado y celebrado Halloween. Ha sido una semana que se ha trabajdo esta Celebración y la hemos comparado con la de nuestra cultura: La calbotá. Aún así no nos hemos resisitido a disfrazarnos, el jueves, para ambientar el colegio y darnos unos caprichos dulces.
The English Classroom has been working on and celebrating Halloween. It has been a week in which we have worked on this celebration and we have compared it to our culture: La calbotá. Even so, we have not resisted dressing up on Thursday to set the atmosphere in the school and treat ourselves to some sweet treats.

This year we have once again held the Family Pumpkin Decorating Competition. It is now in its fifth edition. We had 26 participating families, with very elaborate proposals. Voting was done through "SantaFlo: Digital Community". We leave you a video with this year's proposals. We hope you like them.
El viernes, que nos íbamos a ir a celebrar la Calbotá....se puso a llover. L@s chic@ de 6º de Primaria nos habían preparado un cuento de RoalD Dahl : Los tres cerditos. Ya tenemos nuestras nuevas instalaciones con total rendimiento... así que nos lo contaron en el Patio del Aula del Futuro. Un recreo diferente.
On Friday, when we were going to celebrate the Calbotá.... it started to rain. The 6th Grade children had prepared a story by Roald Dahl: The Three Little Pigs. We already have our new facilities with full performance... so they told it to us in the Patio of the Classroom of the Future. A different kind of break.
Para finalizar esta semana tan intensa y sustituyendo la Calbotá, volvimos a poner en marcha los Talleres Colaborativos. En la primera semana, el alumnado de nuestro centro salió enmocionado y el claustro también. Decidimos que pondríamos en marcha otra vez esta actividad, que nos serviría para celebrar la buena noticia de la semana: El CEIP SANTA FLORENTINA VA A TENER, OFICIALMENTE, UN AULA DEL FUTURO. En septiembre, la dirección del centro, solicitaba al servicio de Innovación y Formación del Profesorado e Inclusión Educativa, que en nuestra escuela se pusiera en marcha como Proyecto de Centro el Plan de Educación y Competencia Digital de Extremadura INNOVATED, y dentro de los distitnos programas: "El Aula del Futuro". Se presentó un proyecto con las Actividades que llevamos realizando durante varios cursos y gracias a que somos Centro Observado en el Programa MUÉVETE, nos han concedido este Aula. Para la Comunidad Educativa del CEIP "Santa Florentina" es un reconocimiento a nuestro trabajo y nuestro esfuerzo, sobre todo en estos dos últimos cursos, que han sido tan diferente a lo que conocíamos. Esperemos sacarle el máximo partido a este chute de energía.

To finish this intense week and replacing the Calbotá, we started again the Collaborative Workshops. In the first week, the students of our school were thrilled. We decided that we would start up this activity again, which would serve to celebrate the good news of the week: CEIP SANTA FLORENTINA WILL OFFICIALLY HAVE A CLASSROOM OF THE FUTURE. In September, the school management requested the Innovation and Teacher Training and Educational Inclusion Service to set up the INNOVATED Plan for Education and Digital Competence of Extremadura as a Centre Project in our school, and within the different programmes: "The Classroom of the Future". We presented a project with the activities that we have been carrying out for several years and thanks to the fact that we are an Observed Centre in the MUÉVETE Programme, we have been awarded this Classroom. For the Educational Community of CEIP "Santa Florentina" is a recognition of our work and our effort, especially in these last two courses, which have been so different from what we knew. We hope to make the most of this shot of energy.

Llevamos un mes del curso 2021/2022 y con respecto al curso pasado, hay muchas novedades. Lo primero: dar las gracias a toda la Comunidad Educativa por poner fácil el comienzo de este curso. Volvíamos después de un verano de desconexión y con novedades en ubicaciones en el colegio. Seguimos teniendo muchas normas de seguridad sanitaria. Por fin podemos disfrutar de nuestras instalaciones. NO HAY OBRAS EN EL COLEGIO, el patio es de uso y disfrute para el alumando....
We are one month into the 2021/2022 school year and, compared to last year, there are many new developments. First of all, we would like to thank the whole school community for making the start of this academic year so easy. We are back after a summer of disconnection and with new developments in school locations. We still have many health and safety regulations. At last we can enjoy our facilities. NO WORKS AT THE SCHOOL, the playground is for the use and enjoyment of the students.
Así que desde el claustro se ha planteado el volver a poner en marcha muchas de las actividades que se nos quedaron el curso pasado paradas. Una de ellas son los Talleres Colaborativos que empezaron a implantarse antes del confinamiento.
So the faculty has decided to restart many of the activities that were put on hold last year. One of them is the Colaborative Workshops that were started before the confinement.
Se desarrollaron talleres de Arte Urbano(ARTFlo), de Psicomotricidad, Cuentahistorias, El Show, "juega y Crece" de la Sociedad de Apredizaje de Extremadura, El Huerto Escolar y El Parlanchín TV. Os dejamos el trabajo que realizaron los chicos y chicas de 6º de primaria en este último taller, haciendo un recorrido por todos los demás.
Workshops were held on: Urban Art (ARTFlo), Psychomotricity, Storytelling, The Show, "Play and Grow" of the Learning Society of Extremadura, The School Garden and El Parlanchín TV. We leave you the work done by the boys and girls of 6th grade in this last workshop, making a tour of all the others.
El curso 2020/21 se termina. Ha sido un curso difícil. Con mucha incertidumbre. Pero también como muchísimas satisfacciones. No podemos tener mejor evaluación. Hemos conseguido mantener la escuela abierta TODO el curso. Tengo que felicitar a esa clase de 3º de Primaria, los valientes de este año, que estuvieron confinados sin perder la ilusión y la sonrisa. Llevaron a sus casas la dinámica de la clase. Yolanda supo, como nadie, hacerles fácil una situación en los que eran los primeros en experimentar. ¡ENHORABUENA, MAESTRA! Gracias a ti....los demás maestros nos subimos al carro y ese tiempo lectivo en casa, ahora parece lejano.
The 2020/21 academic year is coming to an end. It has been a difficult year. With a lot of uncertainty. But also with a lot of satisfaction. We cannot have a better evaluation. We have managed to keep the school open ALL the course. I have to congratulate the 3rd grade class, the brave ones of this year, who were confined without losing their illusion and smile. They took the dynamics of the class to their homes. Yolanda knew, like no one else, how to make a situation easy for them in which they were the first to experiment. CONGRATULATIONS, TEACHER! Thanks to you .... the other teachers jumped on the bandwagon and that school time at home now seems far away.
Hemos conseguido el "Sello de buenas Prácticas TIC" en su categoría I. Eso ha sido gracias a haber aplicado con efectividad "Santa Flo: Comunidad en Digital". Adaptarnos a los nuevos tiempos. Nuestro Proyecto Educativo de Centro aplicado a través de nuestras plataforma, uniendo a pesar de estar separados toda la Comunidad Educativa. Vivenciar de otra manera: la Velada de Navidad, la Carrera Solidaria, el Día de la Paz, Santa Cecilia, Carnavales, Extremadura en la Escuela, la Semana del Libro, la Gymkana y el final de Curso. Dar la Enhorabuena a los chicos y chicas de 6º de Primaria que se nos van del colegio. Vuelan a secundaria con una mochila cargada de recuerdos. ¡BUENA SUERTE! y que todos vuestros sueños se hagan realidad.
We have achieved the "Seal of Good ICT Practices" in its category I. This is thanks to the effective implementation of "Santa Flo: Community in Digital". Adapting to the new times. Our Educational Project of Center applied through our platform, uniting in spite of being separated all the Educational Community. To experience in a different way: the Christmas, the Solidarity Race, Peace Day, Santa Cecilia, Carnivals, Extremadura at School, Book Week, the Gymkhana and the end of the Course. Congratulations to the 6th grade boys and girls who are leaving our school. They are flying to secondary school with a backpack full of memories. GOOD LUCK! and may all your dreams come true.
Terminamos como mejor sabemos hacerlo: bailando. Este año la última canción ha sido "TOC TOC" de Macaco. Transmite las ganas des superar dificultades, tristezas, manías para encarar lo que venga abriendo puertas con fuerza a la alegría. En el tiempo en el que estamos...toca salir a la calle, con precaución, pero con ganas.
Feliz verano a toda la Comunidad Educativa del CEIP "Santa Florentina". Nos vemos en septiembre. Ahora toca descansar y reponer fuerzas.
We ended as we do best: dancing. This year the last song was "TOC TOC" by Macaco. It transmits the desire to overcome difficulties, sadness, manias to face whatever comes, opening doors with strength to joy. In the time in which we are ... it is time to go out, with caution, but with enthusiasm.

Un año mas, volvemos a participar en este Concurso. Se trata de que los chicos y chicas de nuestro colegio, piensen en el diseño de un cartel para invitar a toda la ciudadanía a ser solidarios y donar sangre. El año pasado se entregó justo antes del confinamiento y la entrega de premios ha sido hace poco. Este año, cumpliendo con la tradición, ya están enviados los carteles para participar en la zona de Campo Arañuelo.
One more year, we participate again in this contest. It is that the boys and girls of our school, think of the design of a poster to invite all citizens to be supportive and donate blood. Last year it was delivered just before the confinement and the awards ceremony was recently. Ayer, nuestras chicas del grupo de teatro de las Actividades Formativas Complementaras, despidieron el curso representado la obra de teatro, escrita por ellas mismas, para todo el colegio. Se volvió a poner en marcha el Auditorio Virtual. En el estudio estaban sus compañeros de 5º de primaria y a través de "SantaFlo" el resto de la escuela se conectó a las 13:30. Fue una manera diferente y divertida de terminar la semana. Una bandada de pájaros andaluces llenaron las aulas de risas y giros locos.
Desde aquí , dar las gracias y las enhorabuena a Vanesa Cazacu, Andrea González y a María montesinos, que junto con Angela, nuestra monitoria de AAFFCC, han preparado con tanto amor esta obra de títeres. Gracias también a Leo Xu y a Sergio Ursache por haberlas ayudado con el decorado y el atrezzo.
Yesterday, our girls from the theater group of the Complementary Formative Activities, said goodbye to the course by performing the play, written by themselves, for the whole school. The Virtual Auditorium was put into operation again. In the studio were their 5th grade classmates and through "SantaFlo" the rest of the school was connected at 13:30. It was a different and fun way to end the week. A flock of andalusian birds filled the classrooms with laughter and crazy turns.
From here, thanks and congratulations to Vanesa Cazacu, Andrea Gonzalez and Maria Montesinos, who together with Angela, our AAFFCC monitor, have prepared with so much love this puppet show. Thanks also to Leo Xu and Sergio Ursache for helping them with the set and props.
